Who writes the MILES Guides?
The MILES Guides are written by the team at MILES, a Swiss professional passenger-transport company with chauffeurs. We publish these guides because we answer the same questions every day — by phone, e-mail and WhatsApp — before, during and after a booking.
Who MILES is
MILES organises chauffeur-driven journeys in Switzerland: transfers to and from Geneva, Zurich and Basel-Mulhouse airports, rides to Alpine resorts, urban journeys and hourly hire. The company combines professional transport with digital tools: online booking, price confirmed before departure, live chauffeur tracking, flight monitoring and a MILES Business workspace for companies, hotels and concierges.
Why we publish these guides
A traveller planning a journey first needs reliable information: how much time to allow, which route, which alternatives, what budget. We prefer to publish those answers openly — including when the train or another option is the better choice — rather than leave the reader guessing. An honest guide is more useful, and more credible, than an advertisement.
How information is verified
Distances, durations and prices labelled as “MILES data” come from our pricing engine and from real journeys we drive. External information (terminals, timetables, regulations, stations, ski lifts) is checked against primary sources: airport websites, SBB, tourist offices, public authorities and official texts. When external data is used, the source is listed at the end of the article.
Updates
Every guide shows its publication date and, when significantly revised, its update date. We never change these dates to fake freshness. Time-sensitive content — fares, timetables, airport rules, winter conditions — is reviewed periodically.
What we do not do
We do not invent testimonials, statistics or customer stories. We do not publish mass-produced pages where only the city name changes. We do not hide alternatives to a private chauffeur. If information is uncertain or likely to change, we say so.
